BEST Students learn how to take basic materials and turn them into robotic designs.
Students from Ramay, Woodland and FHS all compete at BEST competitions.
Students begin designing their robots based on the materials supplied from BEST.
First students must brainstorm on how to solve the problem given them from BEST.
To do this students use the design process, taught in POE, IED, and EITE.
Because at BEST students are competing against other teams, the
design process is on going. Students are trying to make the best robot
possible. To this some students will work on the design template and
others will help assemble the robot.
Finally going to the completion and working with others to score points and compete is the ultimate fun.
