All students must complete the self-screening questions listed below prior to reporting to school, entering a school building, or attending a school-sponsored function. If the answer is “yes” to any of the questions, do not come to school.

Have you experienced ANY of the currently known symptoms of COVID-19 below in the past 48 hours?

  • Have you had a fever of 100.4°F or greater in the last two (2) days?
  • Do you have a cough?
  • Do you have difficulty breathing?
  • Do you have a sore throat?
  • Have you experienced a new loss of the sensation of taste or smell?
  • Have you had close* contact with a person known to be infected with COVID-19 in the previous 14 days? (Close contact is defined as being within approximately 6 feet of a COVID-19 positive case for greater than 15 minutes; close contact can occur while caring for, living with, visiting, or sharing a healthcare waiting area or room with a COVID-19 case or having direct contact with infectious secretions of a COVID-19 case (e.g., being coughed on). 


Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, FHS is not accepting visitors at this point in time.

November 23 and 24 are District Virtual Learning Days and students should not report to in-person school. November 23 will be a Virtual Learning A Day (VLA) and November 24 with be a Virtual Learning B Day (VLB), so students are responsible for their specific classes that take place on those days.

FHS Teachers have Virtual Office hours on Friday to assist students who need assistance with their work. Priority times have been established to eliminate any duplicate ZOOM sessions. If you child needs assistance with a specific subject area, please have them schedule time with their teachers to receive help.

REMINDER: Make sure to purchase Chromebook Insurance for your child's device. The cost of insurance is $35/device and you can pay for it on the FPS Virtual Store at Follow these steps to secure payment:

  1. Visit the FPS Virtual Store at
  2. Select FHS from the drop down menu in the top left corner of the page
  3. Select Chromebook Insurance
  4. Indicate how many insurance packages you want to purchase and click on ADD TO CART. (REMINDER: The cost is $35.00 annually for each Chromebook for each school year)
  5. Click on your cart in the upper right hand corner, enter an email where you want to receive a receipt, and click CHECK OUT.
  6. Enter your debit/credit card information and then hit submit to confirm your purchase.

Once this process is completed and the transaction is processed, you will receive an email receipt indicating you purchased Chromebook Insurance. This receipt should be kept in a safe place in the event that you ever need to verify your purchase.

On Saturday  December 5, 2020 from 10a.m.-2p.m. the Donald W. Reynolds Boys & Girls Club will be hosting the UPS Road Code Program.  This program teaches teens and preteens safety guidelines and rules of the road put together by UPS through the Boys & Girls Club of America.

Have extra cans of food around the house? Come to Fayetteville High School Friday, November 20th between 10am-3pm and drive through to drop off cans at the front of the school (by the PAC and gym) for the district food drive!

Want to see YOUR design on the 2021 Color's Day T-shirt?! 26 Club is hosting a t-shirt design contest beginning now through January 4! Bring entries (digital or hand drawn) to Mrs. Waymack in room 2904 no later than January 4th. We cannot have a dance this year, but we can have a cool t-shirt!!!

Basketball season is beginning at FHS and there are guidelines for student attendance in Bulldog Arena due to COVID-19 restrictions. All students are required to purchase eTickets in advance of the game. FHS will only allow 85 students in the student section. Additionally, students will need to be standing on the stickers in the stands to observe social distancing and wear their masks at all times. FHS admin will be monitoring this closely and those who do not follow the guidelines will be asked to leave the student section. When the student section reaches its capacity, students will be directed to sit elsewhere in Bulldog Arena. We thank you in advance for supporting the Bulldogs and following our Bulldog Arena guidelines for Basketball.

Hey Students-- your teachers have been working really hard this year and putting a lot of time into making sure all students are getting the help they need. You should show some appreciation towards them for being there for you and impacting your life. If you had a teacher that impacted you, vote for them on this Google form. We are going to be doing this once a week! Your teachers will greatly appreciate it.

The deadline to apply for testing accommodations on the 2021 AP Exams is November 20th. All requests for AP Testing accommodations must be approved by the College Board. Students previously approved do not need to resubmit. Please contact AP Testing Coordinator, with any questions.

The United States Senate Youth Program (USSYP) is now accepting applications. Two high school juniors or seniors from each of the fifty states will come together for an intensive week-long leadership program March 14 - 18. Students will also receive a $10,000 undergrad college scholarship. Applicants must be juniors or seniors interested in government, political science, and public service and must currently hold an elective office in a student government, civic, or educational organization.  Program Information and Application

Need help with homework? Prepping for a test? Studying for the ACT? FHS National Honor Society is offering free Zoom tutoring! Fill out the form and request an NHS member for a tutoring session over Zoom. Sessions will be during Advisory time, M-Th, all day Friday, and after school hours by request.

FOR PARENTS, STAFF & STUDENTS: If you are not purchasing a SEASON PASS or SUPER PASS, you will be REQUIRED to purchase a TICKET from (TICKET TAB). Due to Covid-19, NO TICKETS will be sold at the gate, you must purchase online prior to game. NO STUDENT PASSES will be issued this year.  Season Passes & Super Passes can be purchased at the Athletic Office.

All seniors who are interested in learning more about specific colleges, should utilize Naviance for virtual tours or visit with their counselor to find out more information.

  • November 15 University of Arkansas priority admission application deadline to meet priority financial aid deadline 

On your radar (November): 

The December ACT is the last opportunity for your scores to count for most regular admission deadlines. This is also the last opportunity for your scores to count for scholarship consideration at the University of Arkansas. Register by November 5th to take the December 12th ACT. 

Make sure to submit official ACT/SAT scores to your universities. Please note: AP Scores are self-reported on your application and official scores are required by the university after you are accepted.
