Associate's Degree

Earn an Associate's Degree in FPS!

FPS students have an option to graduate with both a high school diploma and an associate's degree with Northwest Arkansas Community College.  Through a carefully planned program of study designed around Advanced Placement and Concurrent Credit courses, students can earn an Associate of Arts or an Associate of Sciences degree.  The degree options reduce the costs of higher education to students and families, facilitate degree completion, and encourage students to continue college beyond the degree.

Interested students should complete the following steps:

     1.  Carefully read through the Associate's Degree Handbook.

     2.  Preview the Associates Degree Informational Video.

     3.  Attend Meeting on January 25th, FHS Lecture Hall, 6:00 pm Rising 9th grade/7:00 pm Rising 10-11th grade

     3.  Complete the  Associate Degree Interest Form by February 26th

     4.  Email proof of Required Test Scores by February 26th.  Accuplacer Testing Sign-Up

Upon receipt of test scores, Mrs. Norman will verify GPA requirements and reach out to both parents and students to schedule a CAP conference specific to the associates degree program.  The conference will conclude with a degree program, course requests and submission of the NWACC application.
