Semester exams for the fall semester will begin this week. Monday, December 11 and Tuesday, December 12 will follow the regular bell schedule. Wednesday(December 13), Thursday(December 14) and Friday(December 15), FHS will have full days of school with a modified schedule. The modified schedule for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday is listed below. Bus transportation will run at normal times all week.

Students will need to report to their assigned classes during the exam schedule, regular attendance will be taken. If your student has earned an exemption from one or two of their upcoming semester exams based on the criteria provided at the beginning of the semester, we want to offer you the flexibility to make the best decision for your student. As a parent, you may choose to keep them at home during the scheduled exam time. Please note that attendance will still be recorded during the exam period. To ensure accurate attendance records, we kindly request that you call the school to excuse your child’s absence during the time they will not be present due to the exemption. This will help us maintain accurate records and ensure that the absence is appropriately documented. PLEASE NOTE: As with all testing days, Fayetteville High School will not call into classrooms to excuse students during exam times, so if you are going to excuse your child, you should do so beforehand.
