New Assistant Principal Named

At their April 24 meeting, the Fayetteville Board of Education voted unanimously to approve the hiring of Dr. Erick DeSquare as a new assistant principal at Fayetteville High School, beginning with the 2025-2026 school year. 

“I am pleased to welcome Dr. DeSquare to our district, “said superintendent Dr. John Mulford. ““He brings valuable experience and expertise, and I’m confident he will be a strong addition to our leadership team.”


Dr. DeSquare currently serves as an assistant principal at Hamilton High School in Memphis, TN. He has also served as a special education teacher and as an intervention specialist. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminology at Arkansas State University, his master’s degree in Teaching from the University Mississippi, and his doctorate in Educational Leadership from Union University.
