Fayetteville High School is offering FREE ACT Test preparation for all students through their Naviance account. To learn more on how to access it, check out the Naviance ACT Test Prep Quick Guide.

If your child has a medical condition of Seizure disorder, Diabetes, Anaphylactic Food Allergy, or Asthma an updated annual action plan is required. This must be signed by a doctor. Please submit all 2022-2023 action plans to the nurses by September 1, 2022. You may have your student bring it to the nurse or email it to either jen.whitehead@fayar.net or carol.stone@fayar.net. Thank you.

Summer is a great time for preparing for the next school year. If your child is, or will be turning, 16 by September 1st, they will need a Meningococcal immunization after they turn 16.In order for your child to be in compliance with state law, you must turn in proof of this immunization by October 1st. If your child does not have all the required immunizations by this date, they may be removed from school until proof is given to your school nurse.

If your child has an immunization exemption, the Arkansas Department of Health requires you to reapply for exemption each year. Once you receive the exemption letter from the state you must supply a copy to the nurse’s office. You may have your student bring it to the nurse or email it to either jen.whitehead@fayar.net or carol.stone@fayar.net. Please call with any questions, 445-1175.

Fayetteville High School is a closed campus and students are not allowed to leave during the day unless approved ahead of time. This means that students are not allowed to leave campus during the lunch hour. Additionally, food from outside vendors may not be brought onto campus unless previously approved by the FHS administration.

At the present time, Fayetteville High School is allowing visitors in the building on a limited basis with prior approval from the Principal. All visitors should report to the Purple Office if they need to visit with someone.

Chromebook insurance is available for $35 through the Fayetteville Public Schools Virtual Store at https://vstore.fayar.net/.

Phone calls will not be made into classrooms to excuse students after 3:20 pm daily so interruption to instruction can be limited. Parents should communicate information to students prior to this time if they need to be called out.

The Fayetteville Board of Education voted unanimously to remove the requirement for the wearing of face masks by all students, staff members, and visitors while attending school or a school function in any school building, indoor facility, or other indoor areas of a school campus. The revised policy takes effect immediately. Due to the CDC mandate, masks are still required while riding on district transportation. The amended Policy 1.19 strongly recommends that face masks continue to be worn while attending school or a school function in indoor areas.
