@FayettevilleHS Film students along with their teachers had the opportunity to visit Yekaterinburg and Moscow, Russia. The students won a national competition through the Eurasia Foundation to become the US Ambassadors to Russia.
Omar Kasim, owner of Juice Palm and Con Quesos, spoke with the @FayettevilleHS Entrepreneurship class about starting a business and taking it from concept to launch. He gave great advice and his message really resonated with the students. #PurpleReign
The FHS Band made history by making finals at the 2019 Bands of America Powder Springs Regional. Out of 23 bands from around the country, Fayetteville placed 7th marking their first time to advance to finals at a national contest. Following their appearance at BOA, the band also earned a Division I Superior rating at ASBOA Region Assessment, and a Division I Superior rating at ASBOA State Marching Assessment where they placed 3rd overall in class 7A, receiving the Bronze Medal.
