The Annual @FayettevilleHS DECA Fashion Show will be held on Thursday, February 21 at 6:30 p.m. in the PAC. The event will also serve as a fundraiser to help send 3 FHS DECA members to compete at the DECA International Career Development Conference in Orlando, Florida in April.
Two @FayettevilleHS seniors were selected to participate in the Medical Interpreter Training Program (MITP) for UAMS Northwest. Both students will attend a five-week, 20-hour training offered exclusively to bilingual students in 12th grade.
Students in Mrs. Strayhorn's Food Safety and Nutrition classes @FayettevilleHS learned about fiber and whole grains this week, followed by a cook-off of white flour muffins versus whole wheat.

Members of Educators Rising @FayettevilleHS won awards at the state conference and qualified to compete at the upcoming national conference. Two students received second place in the Children's Literature event and another member placed second in the Public Speaking event.
