Over the past two weeks, the @FayettevilleHS F.R.I.E.N.D.S. club members have visited Holcomb Elementary and Leverett Elementary. FHS student members read-aloud to, ate lunch with, crafted art projects, and played at recess with over 300 kindergartners and first graders! We can't wait for our next visit to Asbell Elementary on March 6th. F.R.I.E.N.D.S. stands for Fluency and Reading In Elementaries to Nurture Diversity and Success. This year we received a grant through FPEF and were able to add 30 children's books to the F.R.I.E.N.D.S. collection in the MWM library; these books are available for check out after our last visit in March; the books share themes of friendship, diversity, tolerance, and building confidence.

The @FayettevilleHS Archery Team took 3rd at the Regional Tournament and placed 13th among the remaining teams in the state that were not in 1st or 2nd in their division. Ezra Andersen placed 2nd in the Girls Senior Division and Joey Kachel placed 3rd in the Boys Senior Division.
