Due to multiple illnesses among the cast and crew, the FHS Drama Department’s performances of “The Dining Room” have been postponed until January 31, through February 2. Tickets for the Friday, January 24 performance will be honored on Friday, January 31, and tickets for the Saturday, January 25 performance will be honored on Saturday, February 1. Tickets for the Sunday, January 26 performance will be honored on Sunday, February 2.

The Trial of the Century took place @FayettevilleHS today in the German classroom. The trial was conducted completely in German and the jury voted to convict Herr Russell of the crime. #PurpleReign

During A&E on Thursday, January 23, the FPS Associate Superintendent for Support Services Dr. Megan Slocum, with the Physical Plant and School Services Director David Tate and Assistant Director Nathan Parker, met with Fayetteville High School’s Engineering Club to share their leadership experiences with past and present district building projects. Dr. Slocum’s leadership team highlighted the roles of architects and engineers, and their collaboration with community stake-holders. In addition to being provided insight into the types of problem-solving decisions involved with facility design and management, students gained real-world advice on effective goal-setting and the value of teamwork.
